Thanksgiving

Well, Thanksgiving is here, and i'm not sure just exactly what i'm thankful for. It's funny, how usually people just say something simple, like, "I'm thankful for my family." But it dosen't go much deeper. That's all. I think people are either just lazy, or they don't want to contemplate it all. Those to whom the previous sentence applies, don't read any further. I do like to contemplate it all. I do it all the time. I think about the universe, how it works, and who created it (that's right, you atheists, I BELIEVE IN THE ETERNAL, ALMIGHTY, OMNIPOTENT GOD). And then I think about what I am compared to Him. I am nothing. I think that the people who don't realize that on purpose need a wake-up call. Which has brought me to realize what I'm thankful for....


I'm thankful for every single healthy breath I take.

Halloween

Well, Halloween has come and gone, another toon of Homestar Runner (www.homestarunner.com, go to toons, then holiday, and enjoy) watched. My mom says it is the last year for trick-or-treating. And, I don't wish I had any more candy, surprisingly. I'm satisfied with my 5-pound bundle. I was Death. A pretty good last costume, one that I got satisfying reactions from various stores as we stopped by on our way home from a Halloween party on Saturday. It was funny to hear the toddlers in the parking lot go,"Mommy, there's a monster out there!"

Yep definitely a good one. Next year we're staying home, and watching Psycho and The Birds. It'll be fun, and it was fun. See you next year!
